when boredom strikes...bake brownies!

today I had an urge to eat many many calories! I made brownies with a cheeky addition of tia mariaaaa!
boozey brownies, yes please!

They are so tasty!
Recipe:
100g butter (i used slightly salted)
200g dark choccy
4 eggs
250g golden caster sugar (i used a mix of muscovado and caster sugar ha)
100g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
50g cocoa powder
2 cap fulls tia maria, or to taste

melt together the butter and chocolate above a pan of simmering water
whisk the eggs and sugar till light, then add the melted buttery choccy mixture
sieve the flour, cocoa and baking powder and add to the mixture
add liqeur and pour into  a 22cm baking tin

bake at 180 for 25-30 minutes, till cracks appear and the middle has a slightly gooey texture

best charity find yet!

I could not believe my bluey green eyes when I was at the till at RSPCA and saw this in the glass cabinet !!!!I was looking for the Looking for Alaska book and ended up finding CHANEL!!!

Chanel Talc, £3.50 and very full!Smells delicious and slight hints of honey!I nosied on ebay  and it was retailing at £60+ ! I also picked up a Clarins youth serum and a No7 eyeshadow, it's a pinky gold tone so now I will use that as a blusher! What has been your favourite charity bargain?

cath kidston sales over the years :)

Well it is widely known  between my friends that I just love cottages and hope to own one one day!I want my kitchen and parts of living room to have a few cath kidston bits in!As i'm  el skinto,  I stock up on bits in the sales and I now have quite a little collection!

This chicken cup is wonderful!!Definitely want about 4 cups, oooh i can't wait to own my own cottage!This is one goal I most want to achieve!!

a productive week :)

well I've had a fairly great week! positive thinking really is the key to getting good results!i have passed assignments and assessments at college :) rather chuffed! I have also being dressing much more girly and it does make me feel so much better about myself!I've been offered more hours at work too!the extra pay should hopefully be going towards savings, that means I need to avoid shopping!

bit of last weeks baking there! not sure what we are doing this week but I am definitely going to practice at home, maybe some tarts?! I did spot of last minute sale shopping too, let me introduce you to my new furry collar!!

it was £2 in the sale and i can't wait to jazz up some dresses with it!

As I am too lazy to type out my resolutions,  here is a photo of them in my new diary!

Main goals are to save some money as I want to go on 3 holidays! I'd like to go to Dublin, Munich and Budapest!Have any of you been?Can you recommend any cheap hotels?!haha

Last year I neglected my appearance and outlook on life for a little while, I just lost interest in looking nice and only made the effort on nights out and dates!This year I am vowing to wear a pretty dress and pencil skirt 2 times a week, no  more  baggy jeans!

and today on my relaxing day I decided to don a hair scarf!
